Morning Reflection

Morning Reflection. A few weeks back I was out shooting at sunrise and captured this image at the Gorge Waterway. It was a grey morning and I was about to leave when the sun just popped between the trees..

The Gorge

The Gorge. The other day I was at the Gorge for sunrise, because it's such a nice walk. I can't believe people live here! I enjoyed my morning watching the sun come up. It's been raining ever since. :(.

Morning Park

Morning Park. The Gorge Waterway in Victoria is a beautiful walk. I got up early this morning to see what it was going to be like before there was people there. I still don't know. Lots of folks out walking for the sunrise. I managed to sneak off to the side to get a people-free shot of the sunrise. I love the mood in this shot..

Crashing

Crashing. I couldn't move this log, nor did I want to, but the ocean tossed it around like a toothpic to put it up on these rocks. Works for me, was great to catch the ocean crashing under it with the sureal solar flares on the top..

Sunrise Glory

Sunrise Glory. Another shot from my shoot out with @pacificphoto. What I liked about this one is how glass-like the ocean is. The tide and waves were coming in, and with the slow shutter speeds help of course..

Purple Sunrise

Purple Sunrise. It's been a while since I got up to see the sunrise. Thankfully @pacificPhoto was my motivation. Boy was it worth it. Lots of amazing shots at Cattle Point in Uplands here on Vancouver Island. A crisp and not raining November morning..

Just Peeking

Just Peeking. Again, from 2009, I shot this on the top of Mount Haliakala in Maui, Hawaii. Getting up at 2am to watch the sunrise and then bike down the side of the mountain through 7 eco-systems was definitely a great experience that I want to do exactly once. And I have done it!
