Old, Twisted, but Still Strong
This old tree on the Trinity College grounds was standing center of a giant patch of grass. Proud, like it owned hte place. Bold like it knew it belonged. and Strong, remembering what it had survived to get here. I'd love to see this tree in the fall before it dropped its leaves, and I'd love to see it in full bloom. It's strong contrast against the blue sky and deep green grass really caught my eye. View the larger version on Flickr!

Finally got a chance to process this HDR. I'm happy with how it turned out. And Yes, I love where I live! View the larger version on Flickr!

Floating Mt. Rainer
Again from Kerry Park in Queen Ann, I snapped this one when I first found the park in 2003. I love how Mt. Rainer just floats over the city as if it's part of the clouds. Clearly there were no clouds on this particular day. View larger version on Flickr.

Seattle from Kerry Ann Park
Before I knew much about night photography (and lens shake) I took my favorite picture of Seattle Downtown at night. What I know now would make the image sharper, but I still like this image. View larger version on Flickr.

Texting Break
Another old shot from my first visit to Gastown in Vancouver, BC. This girl just took a quick stop to send a text. View larger version in Flickr.

Victoria in Snow
As the snow starts to melt from Victoria I think back to how often we actually get snow. Hardly at all. I can only remember 2006 (when this photo was taken) and 2008 when I first officially moved here. This is a shot I took in 2006 walking around the Inner harbour in the snow. Snowy Day
This photo I took yesterday to capture the snow in my neighbourhood. The clouds had cleared up and the latter half of the day was turning out quite nice. View larger version on Flickr.

Banyan Square
Another older shot from 2006. The Banyan tree in Lahaina, HI on the Island of Maui is quite impressive, it fills an entire square of the city. I just happened to snap this cyclist walking under the many branches. View larger version on Flickr.

Foggy San Fran
Dragging this one up from the graveyard (shot in a San Fran visit in 2002). This was a "I'm out for breakfast, that looks like a cool shot" snap, but to this day, I still really like how it turned out. The Mystery of the building disappearing into the fog is what makes it for me. View Larger Version on Flickr.

Rose Parade Rain Dance
Digging up another older shot from a trip to Portland, OR in 2007. My wife and I went for our 1st anniversary, and it rained the whole time. Thankfully, the rose parade happened and we got to see lots of wonderful people. View the larger version on Flickr.

Miniature War
This is a fun one, also resurected from my collection. Miniature World in Victoria, BC has a bunch of wonderful scenes from war, all shrunk down about as small as they go. These men stand about 1cm tall, of course with the camera where I put it, you might never know. ;o) View the larger version on Flickr.

Toronto Skyline
Took this photo with an Old Canon G3 (before I got into SLR cameras) from the Beaches in Toronto. It's always been one of my favorite shots of where I grew up. View the larger version on Flickr.

Yaletown in Fog
This is another old shot (2005) that I took with my Canon 10D. I thought it was pretty cool how the city was engulfed in fog. View the larger version on Flickr.

Cook Street Austin-Healey
Again, given it has been miserable out, I figured it'd be fun to look back on some topless convertible fun. found this old Austin-Healeyin prime condition in Cookstreet village... for some reason, cars always come out looking awesome in HDR, especially classics. View the larger version on Flickr.
