Into Beyond!
I commute via float plane to and from Seattle from Victoria, BC. This is my commute. View the larger version on Flickr!
Pink and Blue
Visiting the Multnomah Falls in Portland, OR was pretty awesome, except that it was the foggiest, rainiest day ever. And with a wife who's not into photography, it's hard to get the images you want. Also, it's virtually impossible to go during peak time and get an empty waterfall. So I decided to emphasis that fact with the Pink, Blue and Black umbrella's looking up at the falls. Tulips in the Wind
Taken on my trip to the Skagit Tulip Festival a few years back, this was one of my favorite shots of the day. View larger version on Flickr.

Suspension under Sky
Visiting Tolt Hill Park in Carnation later last year to give my friend some tips on HDR photography, I placed my camera on the solid part of the suspension bridge (to prevent sway) and snapped this wonderful HDR. The bridge was what caught my eye, but the sky is what makes me like this photo. View larger version on Flickr.

Victoria in Snow
As the snow starts to melt from Victoria I think back to how often we actually get snow. Hardly at all. I can only remember 2006 (when this photo was taken) and 2008 when I first officially moved here. This is a shot I took in 2006 walking around the Inner harbour in the snow. Banyan Square
Another older shot from 2006. The Banyan tree in Lahaina, HI on the Island of Maui is quite impressive, it fills an entire square of the city. I just happened to snap this cyclist walking under the many branches. View larger version on Flickr.

Like Father, Like Son
This was a lucky shot, i snapped back in 2005. Not "right place right time", but more "i can't believe it's not blurry". A hand-held shot on the dark at the Vancouver Aquarium. Makes me think of Nemo and his dad. View larger version on Flickr.

The Hike to Wallace
Another old shot, this time from 2003, but it's been one of my favorites. On a Hike up to see the Wallace Falls between Stevens Pass and Monroe in Washington State it's quite a nice gem of a walk, the first part of the hike is super easy and you see the small falls, if you continue on, you get to see some larger falls. Spring Blossoms
Another old shot, but one of my favorites (as you can see by it being the backdrop of this blog). I was out capturing trains in the Snoqualmie train museum in the spring and this explosion of purple just burst out of the ground. View larger version on Flickr.

Christmas Tree 2011
Today I put away the Christmas tree for another year, but not before I snapped an HDR of it. Thank you for another year of memories Mr. Tree. View larger version on Flickr.

Suspension Reflection
As the rainy season comes, I start to remember the warm nights as I wonder around shooting. That doesn't happen often anymore, and this particular shot I was in Carnation, WA at Tolt Hill McDonald Park and managed to sneak down to the water to catch this awesome reflection.
