Pink and Blue

Pink and Blue

Visiting the Multnomah Falls in Portland, OR was pretty awesome, except that it was the foggiest, rainiest day ever.  And with a wife who's not into photography, it's hard to get the images you want.  Also, it's virtually impossible to go during peak time and get an empty waterfall.  So I decided to emphasis that fact with the Pink, Blue and Black umbrella's looking up at the falls. Miniature War

Miniature War

This is a fun one, also resurected from my collection.  Miniature World in Victoria, BC has a bunch of wonderful scenes from war, all shrunk down about as small as they go.  These men stand about 1cm tall, of course with the camera where I put it, you might never know.  ;o) View the larger version on Flickr.

The Hike to Wallace

The Hike to Wallace

Another old shot, this time from 2003, but it's been one of my favorites.  On a Hike up to see the Wallace Falls between Stevens Pass and Monroe in Washington State it's quite a nice gem of a walk, the first part of the hike is super easy and you see the small falls, if you continue on, you get to see some larger falls. Spring Blossoms

Spring Blossoms

Another old shot, but one of my favorites (as you can see by it being the backdrop of this blog).  I was out capturing trains in the Snoqualmie train museum in the spring and this explosion of purple just burst out of the ground. View larger version on Flickr.

Sailing, Despite the Lack of Wind

No Wind Sailing

This is an old photo, but one of my favorites.  This guy was attempting to sail on Lake Union, in Seattle by Gas Works park (shown in the back).  Struggling to catch all the wind he can.
