Tide Changes

Tide Changes. On a hike earlier in the year I took this picture at Witty's Lagoon. I was wondering what these upright logs were for. The lagoon almost completely drains, so it's likely not an old dock. Do you know what they are for?.

Bridge over Troubled Water (Landscape)

Bridge over Troubled Water (Landscape). Took a short hike today down the otherside of Witty's Lagoon trail, it was quite nice and I got a few water falls out of it. This particular one was captivating, and I ended up spending 20-30 minutes crawling around on the rocks and logs at the bottm. Managed to avoid a soaker as well!.

Crashing

Crashing. I couldn't move this log, nor did I want to, but the ocean tossed it around like a toothpic to put it up on these rocks. Works for me, was great to catch the ocean crashing under it with the sureal solar flares on the top..

That's a Big Rock!

That's a Big Rock!. The absolute coolest thing about Rio De Janerio was the build up of the city between all these crazy mountains. This one was breath-taking at sunset, as the sun just hit the wall of buildings and the mountains, and it reflected perfectly in the lagoon below it. What is crazy is I think the cement pillars in the mountain are there to prevent the rocks at the top from falling down. I wonder what building insurance goes for under that thing?
