I was playing with my macro lens and like trying to get the little pollen makers in focus, I discovered an ant! he was totally chillin the entire time I was there on this flower. Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (1 of 3). Back in 2004, or something like that, I discovered that I took 90% flower shots, and I swore not to take another flower shot.... like ever. But they never really stopped catching my eye. This is taken in my back yard. This Rhody seems to bloom every other year, and it's super pink! Tidal Pool. At Witty's Lagoon this past weekend, the water was super calm, which left some quite nice pools of water on the beach for playing in! The sea weed looked desperate, clinging to this rock for support. It was a very relaxing moment View the larger version on Flickr

Above the Clouds. Another shot from my floatplane ride flying of the Olympic Penisula. Clouds were super low, and even foggy in some areas, made for a rather mysterious flight home. It made me wonder, isn't Forks around here somewhere? View the larger version on Flickr

Good bye Victoria!. Another float plane shot today, I snapped this earlier in the week when I flew out of Victoria on a glorious sunny day! Looking at this reminded me heavily of the 10K I ran down that road just the day before... oh, no, wait, my back and sore muscles as I sat in a cramped float plane reminded me of that, but hey, I ran that road! A Fly by Alki. I took off in a Kenmore Air Floatplane today and we buzzed the city and I got this great view of Alki beach! it's been forever since I've had time to go and hang out on that beach, one of my favorite places to hang out in Seattle.
