A stop at the top

A stop at the top. Shot this one with my GoPro messing around sticking it to the outside of my car. It was pretty cool at the top of this hill, so I took the GoPro off my car and snaped this one in hand. View the larger version on Flickr

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (3 of 3)

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (3 of 3). Two more explosions about to happen. I was actually surprised to see those bugs on the blossom on the left. I totally didn't see those little guys in person. Score one for macro lenses! View the larger version on Flickr

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (2 of 3)

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (2 of 3). Surprise! I was playing with my macro lens and like trying to get the little pollen makers in focus, I discovered an ant! he was totally chillin the entire time I was there on this flower. Clearly he's escaping his duties with the ant colony to relax in teh sun on this flower. View the larger version on Flickr

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (1 of 3)

Obligatory Spring Rhody Shot (1 of 3). Back in 2004, or something like that, I discovered that I took 90% flower shots, and I swore not to take another flower shot.... like ever. But they never really stopped catching my eye. This is taken in my back yard. This Rhody seems to bloom every other year, and it's super pink! So I decided a small series was in order. :) View the larger version on Flickr

Good bye Victoria!

Good bye Victoria!. Another float plane shot today, I snapped this earlier in the week when I flew out of Victoria on a glorious sunny day! Looking at this reminded me heavily of the 10K I ran down that road just the day before... oh, no, wait, my back and sore muscles as I sat in a cramped float plane reminded me of that, but hey, I ran that road! A Fly by Alki

A Fly by Alki. I took off in a Kenmore Air Floatplane today and we buzzed the city and I got this great view of Alki beach! it's been forever since I've had time to go and hang out on that beach, one of my favorite places to hang out in Seattle. I shot this quick in easy-panorama mode on my Nikon CoolPix! View the larger version on Flickr
